TECNO Launches MegaPad 2 in Bangladesh with 11-Inch 2.5K Display

DHAKA: Chinese smartphone and consumer electronics brand TECNO has launched its MegaPad 2 tablet in Bangladesh, offering an 11-inch 2.5K display, artificial intelligence features, multi-device connectivity and an 8,200mAh battery.

The tablet is priced at 36,999 taka, excluding applicable value-added tax, and is available through authorised TECNO outlets and retail stores across Bangladesh.

Display and performance

The MegaPad 2 features an 11-inch 2.5K Eye-Care display with a 90Hz refresh rate, designed to provide smoother visuals for streaming, reading, web browsing and everyday tasks.

The display is certified by TÜV Rheinland for flicker-free performance and low blue-light emissions, according to TECNO. The company says these features are intended to make extended screen use more comfortable.

The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G100 processor and comes with 128GB of internal storage and up to 12GB of RAM. The standard configuration includes 6GB of physical RAM, with a further 6GB available through TECNO's Memory Fusion technology.

The tablet has an 8,200mAh battery and a slim metal body. TECNO is also positioning the device as a productivity-focused tablet, with multitasking capabilities designed to offer a PC-like experience.

Cameras and connectivity

For video calls, basic content creation and document scanning, the MegaPad 2 includes an 8-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

The tablet also supports TECNO's OneLeap ecosystem, which enables connectivity between compatible TECNO devices and is designed to facilitate faster transfer and interaction across the company's device ecosystem.

The launch adds another large-screen option to Bangladesh's increasingly competitive tablet market, combining productivity features, entertainment-focused display specifications and cross-device connectivity in a single device.

The MegaPad 2 is now available at authorised TECNO outlets and retail stores nationwide at a listed price of 36,999 taka, excluding VAT.
